I saw the Top 3 S18 queens plus Angeria a few weeks ago but mainly for Darlene. Darlene was a no show. Nini was great. Out of these girls, I for sure will go see the edging queen Joey Gay. She has won me over so much. Seems like a kind person and is so entertaining. She doesn’t need a title. Miss Akeria is so good too and I’m rooting for her to get her flowers. Literally nobody like the outcome the producers are serving, not the audience, even the queens were done after announcing the challenge win. They're wanting to rig it for their chosen favourite, but are actively hurting the show and winner as a result. And they are doing it with queens who could legitimately pull off a wij themselves and don't need a heavy handed push. I'm like 99.99% Crystal will take it, they didn't rig multiple wins for anyone else on All Stars and then not give them the crown. The top 2 is Joey and Crystal, Joey beating Akeria and Silky (gagggg bitch!! CROWN HER!!!!) and Crystal beat Jasmine (crystal and jasmine advance to round 2 bc most wins/most rate a queen points). Ughh!!!! At the end of the day I am glad this queen is now richer with 200k in the bag, but I feel like the producers took out all the joy from this moment. So happy for her. Crystal will be a great winner and representative of the brand, and her palette will be the best for sure. Super congrats to her, I am not pressed. lovely season overall!!! gagzus 23,078 Posted July 17 Share Posted July 17 Kinda figured Crystal would win tbh. Sad Joey didnt because it would’ve been a great arc to have the first “returning” queen winner within a season. Especially after the rigged nature of last All Stars when Bosco and Irene were the clear front runners before the merge. I’d have even been happy if they rigged it for Kennedy to win. But the second they automatically advanced Crystal in the lipsync tournament I knew. Drag Race has become a very predictable show.
