gagzus 19,366 Posted Tuesday at 11:10 PM Share Posted Tuesday at 11:10 PM (edited) Not the song name but I think I was the one who sort of pushed the rumour of a collab on here because of the evidence- Rumours were Madonna’s lead single (which I Feel Free is confirmed as NOT being) was supposed to be in the movie. Stuart Price made Confessions II with her as the main producer but she was randomly in the studio with Andrew Watt (who produced Mayhem and Gaga’s songs on the movie soundtrack) around the time Gaga was free to make music for the soundtrack last Autumn. Then some Madonna fan sites were saying they had a song together but didn’t say the title. Now I’m LESS INCLINED to believe it because I know someone who lives in NYC who got to go to the movie premiere and they said there was other music in the film that’s already been out including a Dua Lipa song that was on her last album and there wasn’t a new Madonna song either and Gaga only had 3 songs and 2 scenes of acting (even though one is technically just her singing Shape). I would be here for them collaborating in principle, however, tbh I think their vocal styles would be like oil and water. Next to each other Gaga would sound brash, even grating, and Madonna would sound a bit insipid. No disrespect to either, I just don't think it would work.
