I really hoped it would be a more angry track based on the title but hearing it was going to be synth pop prepared me for something more mid-tempo. It's alright but yes, extremely similar to Chappell and Taylor's music, I much prefer rock Olivia. I'm supportive of her branching out with new sounds, of course, but I just don't know is she shines as much with this. At least she's still got some guitar on it. The little talk/rap part in brilliant, though and I do love the "angel on the wall of Versailles" line and the fact she filmed it at the actual palace is so cool. We thought it was cool when it singers filmed videos in the Louvre, but this is even grander! The only thing that gets me is the outfit, it's a bit "little girl" in that uncomfortable way, especially as she's basically exposing frilly underwear the whole time. It's giving Cry Baby when people were accusing Melanie of sexualising childhood.
