For context: Drake's 'Take Care' selling over 10 million units does NOT mean it is officially certified Diamond. This is why the word 'Diamond' was never mentioned in the original tweet. RIAA has its own standards and UGC streams that are counted towards its 10 million total would not count for certification purposes. This has been explained many times before.

I think one fact we have to consider is that Bloody Mary literally became a halloween classic. That is not me being delusional, all of you remember how huge it's streaming update was during those days, it was the most streamed female spooky song if I recall correctly. This is only going to continue to grow over time.

So even if Abracadabra is bigger right now, there is a real chance that Bloody Marty will become a notable song tied to this holiday and that gives it a very long-lasting legacy.

Abracadabra could very well become a Halloween classic too. 

I’m going to say Abracadabra since it was more of a traditional hit and is still going strong in streams. We’ll see how it holds up in another year. If it declines then Bloody Mary is the obvious winner, but it’s too soon.

Again, you’re comparing apples and oranges. Let’s compare today’s BM numbers to Abra’s in 10 years and then we’re comparing apples to apples.

Both are some of her best ever but Bloody Mary was the blueprint and probably the reason we even have Abra and Mayhem the way it is. It’s like Bloody Mary and Bad Romance decided to have a child.

Girl... you're straight up telling lies atp. 

BM is nowhere near 7M in the US. It would only be, if its UGC were counted, but they don't count for RIAA.

Therefore BM is only ~4M RIAA units atp.

And mind you, BM sold 500k+ pure from 2011 to this day and most of those were from its early days.

BM is nowhere near DWAS numbers. Abra is almost even on streaming already and will surpass BM in a few months.
