It was a nice nod to his younger self. The part where he is staring up at the Your World 2.0 artwork made me happy for him and his evolution as an artist. To me it was the section where he was truly having a fun time. People are acting as if all he did was play YouTube videos. He had a very solid performance overall and this small bit of throwbacks was fun. Plus playing clips of him falling or walking into the glass door was funny and shows him having a good sense of humor. It’s on par with his current aesthetic. People probably expected him to have back up dancers and choreography but that really not him now. He’s in his 30’s now and he isn’t the teeny bop pop star from 2010. I liked JB’s performance. It paled in comparison to Sabrina’s for sure. Can you name the artists you’re referring to? I know male country singers are mediocre af at performing but I wouldn’t go to their shows so no need to mention them. The only straight white male pop stars I can think of are: Justin Timberlake and still does his little dance for being middle aged has been. Harry Styles I think would do well live. Benson Boone looks to be a decent live performer. Ed Sheeran isn’t know to dance or anything so I wouldn’t expect him. I wouldn’t expect lukewarm pop singers like Shawn Mendes or Charlie Puth to put on a more entertaining show than Bieber. But who are the pop guys you’re referring to? Female muscians are still expected to be greater than God in everything they do regarding performance and sound. Men do get dubbed as "boring", however they just shrug it off and let it be hmm. I still remember actual fans dubbing Gaga as "lazy" for reusing the ART OF PERSONAL CHAOS Coachella show for the tour aswell. I dunno, what I'm saying just some dot points.
