I'll revisit it later I still think it's really cool she was invited to be on the soundtrack. I've been listening to it for a bit, although it's not really grabbing me quite the way that Disease and Abracadabra did. I'd say it might be slightly on the over-produced side, but the beat is fun as are the lyrics and Gaga and Doechii work well together, as you'd hope in a colab. I think where perhaps the "gripes" are coming from is that this is not her usual musical territory. Fans are used to her commanding space in a genre, and this is her venturing into someone else's house where she is a student rather than a master. And it's a song to support a film, not an entire era. I think people are entitled to say this isn't exactly what they would expect or want from her, but it's a between album cycles release and people need to wind their neck in a bit.
