They did a great job together. Especially her falsetto "yooooooou's" towards the end and that strong "WITH YOUR HIGH COWBOY BOOTS ON." She's absolutely amazing The track is brilliant, the outfit, the setting, everything is flawless The set STRIKINGLY resembles Madonna's Express Yourself video ! but it's cool after all, she knew from whom to take the inspiration. I think this night of performances from Gaga have been her best in awhile. Both were very exciting but Gaga seemed really in her element, especially. While she is always exciting to me, the looks of both songs of the night are so intriguing and her voice with Sugarland was a perfect fit. She looked like a cross between Tammy Faye, Carol Channing, and Elizabeth Taylor. She looked like a washed up, elderly, silver screen star, banging away at a piano in the middle of her dusty apartment. Like a faded, Hollywood, gutter slut, reliving her youth when she had a one-woman cabaret show. The only thing missing was a glass of gin, and Joan Crawfords dead body in the corner.
