southpaw773 4,115
Idk if you can count ones my parents played but I know what they had back then but for me it was my first tape of my own, Weird Al’s greatest hits volume 1. I switched baristas
Agunimon 450
I feel like the first one I sought out with the intention to listen to as an entire album was Nightwish - Angels Fall First because I specifically remember watching a Sims 2 music video on early Youtube that had I Wish I Had An Angel as the song only to discover it wasn't on that album which boggled my mind given the title. Though it also could have been The Sims 2 soundtrack itself. Edited 5 hours ago by Agunimon
Hadrian 1,393
The first album I ever asked for was Be Not Nobody by Vanessa Carlton. I was blown away by how involved she was with her music when I scoured the liner notes for tea (I've always liked when singers would write their own songs). She was probably my primer for Gaga later on lol rent-free like your future nursing home

PartySick 168,873
It really depends Probably some random classic country album my grandparents played. But for me specifically? It's either the ET Storybook (narrated by MJ xoxo) or Dangerous as that was my first ever CD (also by MJ) Bonus: Invincible (MJ xoxo) was the first CD I ever bought with my own money got that and GTA Vice City from the local Walmart after doing yard work for neighbors for weeks ¡Seguimos aquí!

RochesterJoannster 3,867
Strangely mine was Fugees - The Score. The rest of the album was quite a bait and switch from the single Killing Me Softly, which was the song that made me want their CD. But 8 year old me got into quite a bit of it! Edit: actually I had the cassette first! It was also my first CD though. Edited 1 hour ago by RochesterJoannster
