Yeah, I acknowledge that and agree with you. 

I thought we were gonna lose him before seeing him get better tbh so even seeing him post that one apology is better than expected. Being that he's been so influential in a space and culture I grew up in and around, I'd love to see him repair what he can and stay healthy while making art. 

So I'm not gonna be a big cheerleader and support him monetarily or promote his projects, but I am gonna hope he can mend wounds (his as well as the ones he caused others especially) and thrive after everything without completely demonizing him forever for things (awful, hateful things) that happened while he needed medical intervention.

All that money and he didn’t put in any safeguards to protect against his erratic behavior. All those t shirts, all those posts, all that KKK costumes — how many people enabled him. And after the first outbursts he never thought to put a plan in place to stop himself. 
 

It’s just as irresponsible. 
 

He says he’s sick. Fine. But he’s radioactive. And as someone that does enjoy a lot of his work I don’t have the heart to defend him or go back to him like the last few years can be brushed away thru apologies or donations.

I guess it's not just a nipple vs a nazi, it's a woman vs a man. A female artist couldn't have said and done all the things Kanye has and nonetheless sell out a stadium afterwards while selling thousands of albums.
