Mister Gaga 23,137
Without doubts, Life of a Showgirl. It's mediocre and i'm actually surprised she put this **** out, coming from such a unique streak of excellent albums (folklore, evermore, midnights, re releases and tortured poets). 1
TEANUS 16,109
TLOAS TTPD Debut Fearless Are all unusable for me because I don’t like country music (the latter two) or bland music (the former two) But I respect Debut and Fearless 10000x more than her last two slops Speak Now through Midnights all had 1-2 songs I liked or had stuck in my head at some point Edited March 31 by TEANUS British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS
MonsterPaws 2,745
If I had to count Debut then fine it’s that one. But after that I’d say a toss up between Lover and TLOAS. I enjoy both though and they each have very fun or even career highlights. Say what you will but Cruel Summer And Fate of Ophelia are catchy as hell and really fun. Father Figure is a highlight from TLOAS and Cornelia Street from Lover. But overall weak albums compared to the rest of discography. Surprised to see reputation get so many votes. I thought it’s a fun album with solid production.
RochesterJoannster 4,009
The most recent two should be lumped together and it’s that.
DESTROY UR DISEASE 19,065
The Tortured Poets Department The anthology does help it a bit but still the amount of songs that I don't care about is alarming. I can name only 2 tracks on the standard edition that I think are actually, objectively great, but still the overall production of the album is just bland and boring. And unfortunately I hear a lot of that on TLOAS too I can smell your sickness I can...

It's mediocre and i'm actually surprised she put this **** out, coming from such a unique streak of excellent albums (folklore, evermore, midnights, re releases and tortured poets). My theory is that besides wanting some creative release during the Eras Tour (which she mentioned in interviews), I think she already has something big planned creatively for her 13th album and wanted to get the 12th album over with as quickly as possible so she can craft the 13th to be a solid record. We know how obsessed she gets with numerology. And 13 is her favorite number. And overall TLOAS just feels like she wanted to have fun and not take herself too seriously after TTPD (which she specifically got criticized for but it’s funny to see more people saying they like it now and wished she’d go back to TTPD writing). In any case, Taylor has already proven she can write everything from generic pop songs like ME! and Opalite to introspective music like those of folklore/evermore/TTPD/Midnights so I have no doubt in her ability even after TLOAS. Like I get the criticism but she’s already proven her prowess as a songwriter time and time again so a regression is almost inevitable after the high’s of her last few albums (I strongly believe TTPD is up there with folklore ppl can crucify me I guess). I just need to know what she’ll cook up for TS13. No way she’ll settle for having fun like she did for TLOAS. I think she’ll take the album much more seriously like she did with 1989 after losing the Grammy for Red.

Also lumping Midnights and TTPD makes no sense. and no I disagree that her other albums deserve more votes. Midnights was a solid album and so was TTPD though the duds do stand out (notably Vigilante **** from Midnights and a handful from TTPD). But the highlights are HIGHlights imo. IllusionLover 7,397
The way Speak Now, Red and 1989 are the holy trinity. That said, I think debut is a very bland album, except for the gay song. But let's see if the 20th anniversary Taylor's Version changes my mind. And Showgirl is her worst era and her second worst album. 13 | this is my dancefloor i fought for, your voice is louder, it echoes
