The Life Of A Showgirl, followed by TTPD and follow by Midnights. It just keeps getting worse and worse tbh.

She is so obsessed with charts and numbers and is in such a rush to inflate her sales that she doesn't take time to find inspiration and come up with interesting stuff.

She doesn't give enough time to her producers to come up with good instrumentals either. Not even Max Martin, THE genius of pop music, could save TLOAS.

Reputation. As a huge fan of hers, I find that all of her attempts at being a sort of villain cringeworthy and forced, and the fact that she keeps putting at least one track in this style on each of her albums (Vigilante Sh*t, WAOLOM, Cancelled!) keeps them from reaching their full potential.

I think once you've listened to her work enough and watched enough of her interviews, you start to realise it just isn't really her. I think it's one of the few cases where I'd argue she really does come off quite childish and immature.

Showgirl, Midnights, Lover, the front half of TTPD, and Reputation are her worst, imo. But Showgirl really takes the cake.

Life of a Showgirl is just aggressively basic and soulless.

I haven’t listened to her first 4 albums but Showgirl has been the worst one and I gave Poets a couple tries but it’s so cringe I had to take a break from her.
