I was thinking the other day about how I’ve never been to that gay hating religious chicken restaurant, but it’s not like almost every other corporation I patronize isn’t just as bad at the end of the day. But then again I hate to think I’m succumbing to apathy. I’m just so tired of my every choice being a moral dilemma. Hot take: you don't need to change bigots' minds, just render their voices irrelevant or make sure there's always a counter to their idiocy. It's 2026. If she was interested in education, it's more readily available now than it ever has been in human history. Especially since she had quite the queer following to begin with. What's making it more difficult is that my boyfriend is more hyped than I am, so I'll have to do some convincing. Sadly as well, she’s just gonna be spurred on more as well because she sees any queer person who’s a man as “telling women how to be women” or any woman who disagrees with her as someone who’s just oppressed or a traitor to her cause. We should ignore her because she’s never gonna change. And her followers and fans sometimes JUST do stuff to support her to piss people off because they’re transphobic. Because she uses her money for anti trans organisations NOT just her views. Shes already used the money anyone gave her before she was publicly transphobic to fund against trans people, and if you are still giving her the time of day you are helping. I was personally a fan of Kanye West but now I’ve stopped listening to him or supporting him. And I’ve replaced him with other rappers and musicians I enjoy. It really is that easy. I get if people grew up with her it’s hard, but imo NOBODY is a Stan of a damn author, especially not one who isn’t that special and hasn’t had any other major works of fiction beyond one series. id find it hard and be disappointed if Gaga did something like this I guess. Well HBO max already has my money, so I am not gonna pirate it in a lower quality. And it is not for others to decide what people are allowed to enjoy or that we dont “need HP media”. It is not about that. The last point you made is subjective. I love HP, and I do not agree at all with what JK says. But I am not gonna let that decide for me if I can enjoy a franchise I grew up with and adore. Like I said, people are allowed to enjoy things, even when nog agreeing with people involved with that thing have said or done.
