Her music never appealed to me tbh. I spun her album once 'cause my sister said "you're gay, you'll love this" and my only response was "girl this is lowkey trash ". Mind you, I don't like most pop girl music aside from the weirdos like Gaga and Billie.

Her personality has always been off-putting anyway. I usually LOVE when people hit back at the paparazzi but when she does it, it always felt less like "you guys are scum sucking parasites" and more like (Karen voice) "how DARE you approach me?! I'm so much more important than you'll EVER be!"

But none of this is really that deep  she's taking a few licks in the court of public opinion atm but nothing is gonna really change. She'll still be the pearl clutching WASP celebrity from a rich family with a fanbase that's likely to be untouched by this whole fiasco and chronically online haters that'll jump ship to being anti-Taylor again soon.

And I will follow them when the winds blow.

She’s not a nice person, and she’s very ungrateful, imo. She signed up for this. The fame is, indeed, a monster. She wants her cake and she wants to eat it, too. Sorry, sis, it doesn’t work like that. How you gonna tell Rio you dream of a multitude of fans clacking their fans like they did to Gaga, but expect to live a perfectly normal public life? Ummmm, no, you can’t have that level of fame and live a normal life. Good riddance, tbh.

Well from my perspective, so is about 90% of the sh** thrown at Chappell

She's notoriously protective of herself (both in terms of privacy and in terms of being treated decently). Which makes sense since she has been open about being bipolar and dealing with severe depressive episodes. 

Her being overly protective of herself caused slight offense to a famous rich family. That can happen. No lasting damage was done. Mistakes are made. The world hasn't ended. She apologised.
