I agree about music obviously being subjective, and we all know that the magic is when both great music and great lyrics combine, but for most people and me, music far surpasses lyrics on priority when it comes to listening, and maybe that’s also affected by my relationship with the English language as a foreigner. Fun Tonight is one of the weakest tracks on one of her weakest albums, and in my opinion it’s not an interesting song musically, and wouldn’t make me listen even if the lyrics are great.
