This was the moment where she proved that her talent will defeat all odds and bring her success. Radios didn't want to play Shallow in 2018 at first (this was literally a public announcement), but then she won the Oscar due to her talent and the song shot straight up to #1 and radios had to play it then. Plus, Shallow is experimental with the unique song structure it has. Just an incredible moment. This is no shade to Die With A Smile since it also has great musicianship, but Shallow just takes it for me.
