I'm conflicted because the song is cute, the video is genius, but this doesn't feel like a lead single? It feels more like a fun mid album track.

Love Kacey and her last 3 eras have been amazing, so I have no doubt this one will be as well!

I like how lowkey and relatable this song can be vs how super specific a lot of the songs on her last 2 albums were. I loved them so much, but I like that she's not being so intense and nebulous and personal. We've all been here.

I love Kacey so much!! This song is great and i’m even more excited about the new era now. Love to be able to laugh sometimes when listening to music.

I think it's cute enough to be a bit of a single as well as a teaser of what's to come. Like how Star-Crossed wasn't the lead single for her last album. It just showed her directions these days. Plus you know people are going to go nuts for these lyrics. There will be a ton of drag performances and fan edits by this weekend.

While a seemingly simple song, it's actually very personal, sad and vulnerable. Definitely relatable to many and goes to show even the rich and famous can struggle to find relationships. Its been a while since she utilised cheeky wordplay and innuendoes and she does it really well here. She isn't copying Sabrina, she was making music like this before her, but maybe her success made her feel like it was time to go back to this style. But the lyrics are extremely Sabrina, bet she wishes she'd come up with lines like "I'm lonely with a capital H, if you know what I mean, I've been sitting on the washing machine" and "Ain't nobody's tool up in my shed."

which is quite a confusing strategy… Like what was the actual lead single after Star-Crossed? Anyone remember it?

Also, she had another album already after that one! The fact that we barely even remember it - says something about her release strategies…
