Generative AI is singular prompt based and then repeatedly refined by successive prompts. So to create a full 2 hr long blockbuster, it would need to be able to handle complex prompts and the logic that entails. AI runs on logic, the more complex the demand the more complex the logic is. It will take a significant period of development to get generative AI to a standard where it can produce full length coherent films. We're talking decades. Look at how long it took to develop computer graphics from basic triangle boob tomb raider to the current gaming graphicsl standard. It took 30+ years and required tech advancements in both hardware & software capabilities. AI is at its triangle boob tomb raider phase. It will require a lot of advances in software & hardware to allow it greater complexity.
