Isn't it funny we're discussing 20 possible musical directions she'd potentially go for when other fanbases... Simply can't

By "leaving the scene" I really meant when she leaves this world... Lol. I agree on what you said but I still stand on my words, mostly because albums like Chromatica don't help to cement that definition. Yikes 🤠☝️

NOT THAT...... she will never die

chromatica was a mass hysteria don't even worry about it

Have I ever told y'all that I guessed the name of LG5 in 2014? I used to dream about what her next 10 albums would be called like, how many copies they would sell... I named LG5 "JOANNE"

My mind :cryga:

Sidenote: I was wrong about its success, though :oohrightthereyeah:

Wait that's actually fascinating please continue

I’d like a bright happy album with positive lyrics and fun bubbly production. I think she’s fully explored her peak lyricism in the “dark pop” type music

“A trance/ravey/deep electronica album. Not necessarily just an "EDM" record...more like something introspective in the vein of Rufus Du Sol, John Summit, SG Lewis, and Gesaffelstein?”

THIS IS MY DREAM. I would die if she ever made a heavily electronic album! I don’t know, I would want her to explore deeper in the dance genre and add other influences, too; of course.

It's time for her to lean into her Elton John campy piano-pop/rock inspiration tbh. I'm ready for a total 180 from Mayhem (after Mayhem: Requiem ofc).

Unless she wants to give us an EP/album full of Killahs, which I'll greedily take :anveeroy:

Oh the unmitigated taste of it all (AGAIN). I would seriously live for an album full of JADs or Killahs.

You get me sister...! I need an album full of JADs, I'm Still Standings, Suffragette Cities, Young Americans, Young Turks, Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, etc., like let's LAUGH and have some fun!!!

Toss in a Killah or two to make the dark pop monstrosities happy to balance it out :ororomunroe:

I'm so happy that Mayhem brought back so much humor to her music, but I want her to really lean into her ridiculousness and send it for a fun pop/rock/piano record.

Gothic female rock like Evanescence could be sooo cool, with a bit of t.A.T.u vibes

Lets get a Garbage, NIN, gritty electronic record. Throw in some Die Form, Skinny Puppy industrial vibes.

Imagine a full album of Blade of Grass :neyde:

Can y'all explain why "Blade of Grass" is so hated around here? It's one of my favorites. :diane:

Y'all not into Meatloaf? No '70s glam rock or '80s hair metal ballads?

I don't hate it, I like the song

But it would be hilarious if that's all the album was :neyde:

I’m yearning for an r&b pop album from her. She’s got the voice for it. Similar to allys pop songs on ASIB but more r&b leaning.
