Considering the price of tickets increased a lot over the years.

I saw it yesterday in 4DX and I had a great experience tbh. Never saw the other movies though so it was a bit confusing at times.

Yeah gonna be watching them soon probably. I'm not a big fan of horror movies :giggle:

They kept talking about what happened to some of the characters when they were younger so most of the time I had no clue what they were talking about

Looking forward to historic drop 2nd week :ororomunroe:

Those words of mouth ain't going to be good.

Will it beat Christy (2025) with 92% drop?!!

I liked it but didn’t love it as I wanted, had some issues with it. Not in my Top 3 but still fun to watch.

Very happy to see that it’s breaking these records but they really need to wrap up with part 8 because there’s not much you can do with the same formula over and over again.

Tbh it was awesome! I'm so glad to see the film doing so well despite the drama. This one was really fun and the most I connected to a Scream film since 3. Everything after felt like Sidney was a side character after her story literally built the franchise.

It's not a perfect film by any means, but was thrilling, scary, beautifully scored, original, and was great to see women in power and written by a gay man, the OG creator of the franchise.

Going again tonight in either IMAX or RDX!

See for me its in my Top 3, either bumping 2 down or being equal to 2. It feels like 4-6 could have not happened and 7 feels like a sequel right after 3.

1, 3, 7, 2, 4, 5, 6

Loved it ! I missed Neve Campbell so much !

Such a fun moment to watch, Ghostface is always delivering some great jumpscares :firega:

I plan a second watch next week. For the moment my rank : 1,2,7,4,6,3,5.

Almost a tie between 7 and 4 tbh

It's also my new third ranking! Which is wild to be as good as the original trilogy. I feel like it's better than 2 only because I felt 2 lagged a bit in the middle, but I still love the first 3.

EDIT: It's really almost 7 = 2 in ranking for me. I love how much it mentioned 2 and the residual effects of those events.

It’s just really hard for me to rank them because all 7 have been enjoyable. Sometimes I’d put 3 high because it has that replay value and the nostalgia makes me appreciate it right now and some other times I’d put it at the bottom if I truly want to rank them in what they are as a standalone movie.

If I had to rank the recent movies I’d say 6 > 7 > 5. Part VI has been fun and the NYC setting was a nice take, I really like that they finally let the franchise stand on it’s own without Sidney for once but at the same time I’m not that crazy about the killers. 5 and 7 reveals make so much sense today in the age of stan culture.

I’ve only watched 7 once and plan to go again but I can see this going higher in my list with time.
