The fact that people are so up in arms about this is f*cking hilarious. because AI in art tends to be more generative, which STEALS whilst AI for convenience is for... convenience literally apples and oranges but in this case, it seems VFX AI was used which i imagine was just using AI to touch up/refine/add some visual effects rather than generating a whole visual that's stolen, which people need to understand the clear difference between adobe has shoe horned AI into almost all their software so it's unavoidable mother, what must i do?

Not at all what I said. But here's my stance. AI should be used to augment human activity. It should be used in ways that free up human energies from monotonous and inefficient work. SIRI and Alexa style AI agents do this, they augment and assist human activity. What I oppose, and is actively discussed within the tech industry as part of good practice with AI, is the use of AI to replace human work. Because we already are seeing what happens when AI is used to replace rather than augment. And anyone who understands economics and sociology knows the dangers posed to society by the impacts of AI used as a replacement rather than an augmentation.
