It’s a battle of two people with way too much time on their hands, as Zara Larsson picks a fight with a Wikipedia editor over a photo choice.

“Whoever the **** is changing this ****ing Wikipedia picture to this picture, stop! Stop doing it! I will never stop, I will never stop changing that picture,” she said in a new TikTok. The video also shows her using her Wikipedia editor pictures to change the image to what she considers a “nice one.”

Good luck to her because they will put protection on the page and she won’t be able to edit at all haha

i dont think she realises that Wikipedia is a facts based information site, they HAVE to use a true to life image for everyone (as in no editing or anything like what she’s posting), they also MUST pay for the license to the image they use and sometimes people hike their prices when big companies want to use them.

Also the image they have for her is still gorgeous I think, she still looks beautiful, she’s part of the everything must be edited and filtered generation though.

That's the way it should be tho? Who else most eligible to add information about their own life but themselves?

It's a wikipedia article, not a PR article or autobiography.

You can't just add or change information though, even if it's a page about yourself. You need to follow the format, add citations from reputable sources, and other things. Even it it's biased as hell in some things, Wikipedia still follows quasi-academic standards.

Wikipedia can only use images coming from Wikimedia Commons, which are generally public domain. That's also a very big obstacle, but a rule that keeps them from being sued into oblivion every other day.

Ofc She looks gorgeous but no One wants a photo like that of themselves. Its not egomaniacal for christ sakes. And ofc this Is mostly for the giggles.

I would love tò see most of you, and if you won't try to have a decent photo of yourself, according tò your own standards. People are protective of their looks. Its normal
