Psyduck 1,661
Have you guys seen the latest MAYHEM clips? I always thought Joanne is HER vocal peak. She never sounded better live in concerts after. Even Chromatica Ball live vocals isn't comparable to Joanne. Don't get me wrong, she's great but the way shes been hitting them notes now is A NEW PEAK. She sounds so angelic in some (a lot, if not most actually) of MAYHEM clip! and her adlibs are all eargasm. Last time I was obsessed on her concert adlibs was Alejandro's last chorus from Joanne. There's just too many highlights on MAYHEM. Paparazzi. LoveDrug. Surprise Piano Songs. Shallow. and more! G U C C I 5,529
I desperately want paparazzi night 1 in Glendale in HQ! It’s perfection and also dance in the dark from night 2! The way she sings it is literally addictive
Savage 1,802
Kind of side note but Joanne World Tour still doesn’t get enough credit for how clean the vocals AND her choreo were. 4 1

Agreed! It was vocally her best until MAYHEM ball happened. I couldn't be more prouder with how she's showing off lately with her key change and ad libs. What a vocal genius!! keep on looking for Psyduck

Ngl I actually think the vocals for the JWT are kind of overrated. The husky tone is a cool sound for her, but I like when she plays around with the timbre and cadence of her voice more (TMB, BTWB, MBT) and the vocals felt a little one note on the JWT for me for that reason. Lextyr97 20,571
Million Reasons from last night’s show was IMMACULATE. I still think Jazz and Piano 2024 was her vocal peak but that’s more because of the songs she was singing for that. Mayhem I think is second, then Joanne. Gaga seems far healthier with her vocals in Mayhem Ball with a more challenging overall setlist. Joanne got like half of its setlist shortened and Perfect Illusion had to get its key dropped. Idk what she was thinking with that song lmfaooo no way she was gonna do that every night 3
Defmix100 6,719
I agree I'd say Paparazzi, The Beast, Dance in the Dark and maybe Disease or Perfect Celebrity were really strong the night I went My Joanne night was cancelled but from what I saw, songs like LoveGame and Million Reasons were showing she was top of her game compared to previous tours
Taumaturg0 1,152
Her mix is the best it has ever been and it shows in how consistent she has become above D5 and her attempting Gs on the studio. Her belting overall improved since she starts mixing earlier for the most part, while still having the choice of keeping a chestier sound when she wants to. Her head voice is strong and reliable up to G these days, with some great moments on high B, and with more dynamics. The pre recorded intro for the tour is a great example of her technique up there. If only they changed the Disease choreo so she could properly hit the climax note every night. Her lows are still amazing, always have been. Her current voice really reminds me of her C2C era vocals technique wise, with Chromatica range, but even more versatile when it comes to tone and techniques used. I do think she has become a smarter vocalist. Also, she mostly quit smoking and that's noticeable. Edited February 17 by Taumaturg0 2

CBT was when she really started getting disciplined with her voice again and she’s been on a steady incline since then. ASIB’s vocals on the album and in the film are excellent, but the few live performances she did in that era were not stellar, imo.
