If he publicly came out, he would only be cast in queer roles, even though he's proven he's perfectly able to portray a more ambiguous sexuality. Keeping a bit of mystery is a way of remaining a blank slate, which is kinda key in this industry. The lesser about your private life is publicly known, the better. That being said, he's no shying away from his queer side either. It takes one to know one, and let's say that... we all know And he's obviously cool with that.
