I get the disappointment because they could have cast an actual gay man, but come on now... they cast straights in gay roles all the time. I've had girlfriends and a boyfriends, both valid relationship types and one doesn't negate the other. If he is just straight and playing gay, that's also fine - at least he's doing a great job on the show. We have Jonathan Bailey playing straight characters like Fiero so I don't really see why this is an issue. Millennials and Gen Z are actively watching their boomer grandparents/parents steal their future because of their greed and unwillingness to pass generational wealth (or vote for systems that would create new wealth). Innocent children and women are being targeted and due process, freedom of speech, and even the right to bare arms is seriously in question. And we are passing the point (right now) of unfixable climate disaster that continues to get supressed by the media via big oil and big insurance paying lobbyists. Oh and there is a giant pedophile sex ring that is actively being protected by the party that just said they were not gonna protect the giant pedophile sex ring. I could care less if a straight is hung up enough for fame/clout he is willing to pretend on screen (or maybe not) to like **** in his mouth. We on the left need to learn to better prioritize because the important stuff is being taken away from us because you are worried about dumb ****.
