First, that's HIS statement to make as the headliner and the man of Puerto Rican blood. Gaga's there as a supporting artist, maybe even as a personal favor to her fan turned global star. Second, Americano is a great song with a great message but it's tone is very...idk, aggressively defiant. This halftime show was all about how Latin Americans ARE AMERICANS. America is a multicultural place and BB's show is about Latin and American pride. And Americano is all about "I don't recognize America anymore, this isn't my America". Very negative.
