As far as the rationale behind her being there, I think it serves a couple purposes: on a cultural level, there are a lot of people that like Gaga (or even just like DWAS) who may not be into Bad Bunny, so the inclusion of a song that basically everyone knows is really smart, tbh. On a political level, Gaga’s inclusion could represent a form of allyship between a white artist and a Latino artist during a time of political division. And, on a personal level, I think it’s just heartwarming for him because he’s such a massive fan and heartwarming to see a newer artist give Gaga some flowers as well.
