Even Gaga admitted she was trying to do the most unGaga album she could think of because she didn't want to be Gaga anymore Where's the authenticity in that? Y'all are missing the point completely, like both of these albums stand for very delicate and difficult times at Gaga's life, for her to have made them during psychotic breakdowns is already an achievement out of it's own. So yeah for Gaga's standards they're both very mid, very not enough authentic, but they're overall still good albums I don't believe in the glorification of murder, I do believe in the empowerment of women

She hadn’t been singing jazz since she was 13 and, in fact, doesn’t even like jazz. She just got herself in too deep because she didn’t want to say no to Tony, and now she’s keeping the act going with Love For Sale and Harlequin.

She basically said losing Joanne made him overprotective and controlling of her, which is why she tried to use that record as a way of both integrating that trauma and signaling to her dad that it was both okay to grieve his sister and that they could also mend their relationship.
