There’s a simple reason for that and it’s the impact from her re-releases, she redid her most successful albums first and got introduced to a new gen of younger fans. People forget that Taylor is technically from the same gen of artists as Gaga and Katy, she only debuted 2 years before Gaga came about and didn’t get popular in the pop sphere till around the time Gaga was peaking, but she was big in country before that with little to no definable inconography. But because her music is more care free and she still presents herself as a younger person than she is (she’s almost Gaga’s age) people view her as this 20 something go getter still with fans who’re 13 years old again. 
 

There’s a reason artists old music goes viral, it’s because new gens discover it and latch onto it.
