I already spoke about this in another thread but the reason it took so long for CBT and HL to come out is because nowadays you shop around an already recorded special. CBT was eventually picked up by HBO (I feel like they most likely pitched it to Netflix and Disney, but they have their own directorial and editing teams involved) I know they say they were saving HL but it’s probably more likely because JFAD didn’t get a good reception nobody wanted anything media wise that was associated with it. Where as this is funded by, promoted by and directed and streamed by Apple itself.
