Melinda will bring the drama so she’s one of the main reasons I’ll be watching. I still wish we could get a proper UK All Stars season with 12 queens. Gawdland won that lipsync for me over Fontana being a Britney knock off but they’re all great this season except Melinda Verga and Zahirah because as someone who’s met Zahirah in person I know she’s boring af and just a carbon copy of the old school drag race girls without the experience. And Melinda is only there because she went viral as a meme. Im also shocked Zahirah did the cd sissy song because for people who don’t know, there’s a lot of discourse in the UK drag scene in general because of the popularity of the phrase increasing, and a lot of trans queens have been taking offence to it. Same for the use of calling yourself a doll when you’re a cis gay man in drag. I think Kate deserved to be top 2 over Fontana, what she did was different but also quintessential British drag. Sminty looked stunning and Naomy gives me temu Le Grande Dame in every sense. I’m also sick of them having filler US girls who clearly cba to be there for anything other than the pay check, even though I admire Mariah immensely.
