For a group that mocks the idea of “cancelling” someone, them cancelling a hotel brand is hilarious. An official social media account to put Hilton on blast shows how soft and sensitive they are. All I see are Karens that are upset and want to feel persecuted and a hotel room exercising their right to refuse service to ANYONE. Grow up, snowflakes. It's kind of possible they were the only hotel they were able to book. The government enters into contracts for reduced rates with the travel industry. I know for a while you couldn't book government travel via Delta and had to use United. A few years ago it was American Airlines. There's a good chance this holds true for hotels as well, though I'm not sure they could turn them away at that point. And who knows if the Trump Admin is even enforcing those rules at this point.
