Mhmm it’s actually not as easy as politicos think for a vp to become president. Idk why they act like it’s this foregone conclusion every time. It’s happened a handful of times, sure, but many other handfuls more it didn’t. You have to hold the baggage of your admin and let’s face it…JD is going to have a LOT to hold while being very ill equipped to do so compared to Trump

It makes me so mad because we did so much work to pave the way for a better future for all, and of course they've found a way to undo it all. I mean, only Gen Z men lean right wing in most polling, whereas Gen Z women tend to be significantly more liberal. Also, those numbers tends to be pretty fluid. I agree that the propaganda is insidious, but it’s definitely not as if Gen Z has been wholesale converted to Neo Nazis lol

It's the sensationalism and controversy that gets them, there's nothing entertaining or dramatic about being more central or focussed on common sense lol. Extremely young people are straight up children still and the only way for them to have any intrest in politics is to turn it into reality TV.. Sad but true, I just hope most of them grow out of it

And if you break the polling down further - they're just embracing populism. There's no ideological affiliation amongst Gen Z men, the right wing griftosphere has just had a better media package for attracting them. 

Primarily because the left wing took significantly longer to adapt to the modern social media led world. And that left wingers are just ****ing awful communicators.

And much of the Gen Z male “Christian” lean is really just them viewing Christianity as a way of reclaiming some form of masculinity. Like you said, most Gen Z men don’t really have a coherent political ideology and I think many of them *could* be moved, it’s just a matter of communicating to them more effectively.

The tumblr-ization/enshitification of left wing discourse around masculinity & intersectionality became so distorted and ****ed that this manosphere bullshit is a direct result.

I also blame the american domination of such discourse because they either are ignorant or actively dismissive of other countries and their social makeup while forcing american discourse and analysis onto them.
