No shade, but there’s really no way for them to cancel elections. IMO, Trump is completely cooked and his demise is more or less a matter of time (not to mention that Trump’s admin will be so unpopular by ‘28 that Vance’s ambitions will be DOA).

I would agree in the main but there are a lot of factors at play and I feel election integrity is incredibly vulnerable now, those who run the Trump presidency will not be keen at all to lose power, Supreme Court is also less than reliable these days to stopper this I fear.

They skew right, but they defy traditional political science attempts to define them as it relies on rationality.

I mean, the Dems control the governor’s mansions and Secretary of State offices of every swing state, so I don’t really think there’s much to worry about there (not saying there won’t be attempts of some kind, but I just don’t see them succeeding). Ironically, SCOTUS stopped Trump’s attempt to effectively occupy Chicago with the National Guard + military, so I also don’t really see them going along with any election subversion (not to mention they were given many opportunities to do his dirty work in overturning the 2020 election and didn’t do it then, either).

Not only is there no Constitutional mechanism for a 3rd term, there’s also really no extrajudicial means of securing a third term, and he’s also hemorrhaging support among independents and even within the base. IMO, ironically, the only way to save MAGA is actually a clean break from Trump and would probably be a right wing, economically populist, anti-Zionist version of the party lead by someone like Tucker Carlson and/or MTG. The Epstein ****, in addition to the economic and immigration chaos, has effectively destroyed Trump’s legacy and standing.

Yeah, I truly don't think they have any hope of extending Trump at this point. Honestly, Trump losing in 2020 was the best possible result because it prevented them embedding themselves properly to achieve a full state capture. 

I personally don't think MAGA is saveable because the coalition it relies on is held together purely by a personality cult. I don't think there is any single platform or figure that could hold enough of that coalition together to achieve anything other than wrecking the Republic primary. And I think any GOP candidate who ran on an anti-Zio platform, if they picked up any momentum would be dead before the summer convention.

I think Tucker would honestly be the only person who could do it. “Charismatic” in his own devious way, intelligent, fluent in right wing conspiracy culture, convincing enough “America First” bonafides for the base, massive platform. In terms of the anti-Zio angle, I feel like Kevin Roberts from Heritage coming out in support of Tucker platforming Fuentes and even Vance giving the Neo Nazi’s a wink signals to me that the far right is potentially willing to sell out Zionists and Israel now that they’ve burned all of their capital as useful idiots and the base and the general public is turning on Israel.
