Sorry this ain't happening soon. Shortest time between albums was TF to TFM and then TFM to BTW/BTW to AP. Full pop album to full pop album minimum time has been 2 years when she was younger and not involved in so many other projects. 

We know she's a perfectionist, and we know she's more protective of her own health and wellbeing these days. Since AP, there has been an album release (roughly) every 3.5-4 years. I'm therefore expecting another pop release (if she decides to) in 2028/29 possibly even later. 

The thing that may throw this off is because  she took detours into jazz and that may have been the reason for the longer stretch of time between pop releases.

She literally said herself a release window for 2026 is not out of question. It won't take that long.

She was in a creative drought for Joanne and Chromatica. We trully can't compare imo

When did she say that  If it's about Devil Wears Prada 2 song then it could be a 2026 release. Not LG8.

She always takes 1-2 years making an album. Joanne is the only album she completed recording within a year that too after scraping around 8 songs recorded with RedOne. Gaga was only claimed to have started recording new music only in November 2025.

- she confirmed herself MAYHEM has been done in around 6 months. They started the sessions late 2023 and finished in Spring, Cirkut confirmed most of their songs together were done at that time.

- she said she had a recording studio built in her hotel rooms during her tour. And we know she was in the studio in October in LA while being on MBT break, confirmed in that Rolling Stones article.

- She talked about the music she's doing right now as she said it'll depend on how the creative process go. But she also confirmed she's creatively flourishing right now.

Honestly stop comparing to Joanne and Chromatica times she  literally confirmed herself it was her most uninspired and uncreative time making music.

Just like two weeks ago, she literally told Zane Lowe LG8 was on the way, possibly in 2026 if she keeps being as productive as she is right now 

Also, The Fame Monster took like 5 months to make, Born This Way (long ass album) essentially took just a year, Joanne took about 6 months and MAYHEM took 5 to 6 months. Also, The Fame is a bit different cause it has a couple songs that were already made before, but the six RedOne tracks were made in one week

Of course an album needs time in the mixing / mastering studio once completed, but a new album done on the tour and completed for Q3 / Q4 release would not be a reach. She already did. At the latest Q1 2027 imo

MAYHEM was ready and she didn’t put it out. I think what might make LG8 get released next year is the promo plan and Gaga being mentally ready to go all out.

I think Chromatica was essentially made a whole year before it came out (pregnant with LG6), but then she decided to remix the entire album to be house music. And clearly, it wasn’t the case yet in July 2019 since she debuted the Babylon EV snippet. So I guess they remade the entire record in about six months too, only leaving Stupid Love untouched.
