Do you guys not remember when she was asked about LG7 in 2021 (she shut that down quickly) so the fact that she said “new music in 2026 is not out of the question” is a big win in my books

Just finished watching. It’s so weird that i cry every time i see her like this. I love this human being so much. 
 

I’m not gonna get my hopes up for any new music (Abel aside) released in 2026. Kinda sounds as though she’s still very much in the writing process.

She could have a full album recorded and done, she wouldn't have confirmed it in an interview anyway.

It's a BIG win she's actually said the door is open for a 2026 release. She could have said 'I'm done for a moment, I'm taking time off after MBT'. She's clearly not in that mood.

I remember she answered something like "There's always music in my mind" like she had probably done a couple sessions here and there but nothing big. So we know that the true Mayhem process started in 2022-2023 when she was in the studio recording Joker music and joined the Rolling Stones sessions and met Andrew Watt.

Same. Maybe it was meant to be a deluxe since there are still a couple of lyrics she showed on her page back when she was teasing MAYHEM that aren't on any released song.

But maybe she went to the studio and decided to add more heavy industrial songs as she wanted to change production on every song to that at some point.

That would be a serve. Not very commercial but since we're not very active as a fandom anymore no one should be mad about it not being commercial at all  Maybe we'll finally get a rock album

The MAYHEM sessions fully started late 2023 both Cirkut and Andrew Watt confirmed it in interviews. Cirkut even confirmed that basically almost everything he has done on the album was from late 2023. DWAS was recorded in Sping 2024 and it was the last song made for the album

Let's be honest 2021 she was in a creative drought, she said it herself. She basically confirmed in this interview that she's in one of the most creative time of her career. She's trully not in the same place

DWAS was never meant to be a droplet single  but she wasn't gonna announce Harlequin mid August when it was supposed to be a surprise for the end of September  

I don't know when plans changed but with everything producers said and the music sheets they made for DWAS's Grammy campaign where it said it was from Joker 2 it's clear it was never meant to be a droplet.

And I don't like droplets so I hope The Weeknd collab comes with a new album

Pure speculation from my part but I have a feeling it was going to be an EP when she started teasing it a few months ago and it turned into something bigger because of how much fun she's having writing music on tour

This reminded me that he was at the private jazz concert Gaga performed in the Rainbow Room after C2C at Radio City. So they've been friendly since at least 2015. (He was rude to me, kinda wish he hadn't been there lol)
