Gaga's problem with stadium shows

Sooo I see a lot of people complaining of the stage format for the Mayhem Ball in Sydney, because it is simply ridiculously small for a stadium.

There was the same issue with the Chromatica ball where they also used that tiny box stage.

I know stadiums are not the ideal place for concerts bc they are just too big, but artists like Taylor, Beyonce, Coldplay or The Weeknd have all adapted their stage to fit in stadiums, and the result is great. So way is gaga so unprepared for stadium shows? I mean I know that Mayhem ball was supposed to be an arena only tour, but still, they could have anticipated another stage format, and the Chromatica ball also had a small stage.

I've also seen a lot of people complaining about how the screens are pretty small for these kind of venues and it makes it a bit hard to see anything from the seats all the way in the back

I think Gaga is simply trying to be mindful of the environmental impact of her shows. She’s much more resourceful now, and building a new stage for only a few dates would be incredibly wasteful. I know the Coachella stage could theoretically have been reused, but it was probably recycled by now, and even if it wasn’t, the additional transport alone would still be environmentally costly.

That said, I think her shows just don’t translate well to stadiums. They are front-facing, theatrical productions that are scaled up to work in arenas. She’s not interested in center-stage setups or flying around the stadium, because that’s simply not the experience she’s trying to create (except for enigma but we don't talk about her). Scaling these shows up again for stadiums will never produce ideal results, because a stadium isn’t the right venue for a pop opera. I understand that stadium audiences deserve good sightlines, and she could always rent more screens or find other technical solutions but that would probably bring more issues (screens hiding other parts of the stadium, for example).

I think Gaga would put up a big stadium production if the run of shows allows it. Touring is spending money before anything - all the logistics and resources it takes to move the people and tons of stuff across the oceans is insane. Chromatica Ball and Mayhem Ball Stadium legs are too short to put that amount of money and effort into a stage like Bey or Abel. That’s just my logical conclusion, I might be wrong though.

Idk why Gaga doesn't adapt to a more centered stage instead of an arena end stage for EVERY show...it doesn't work. 

They had time to plan for arena and stadium shows and ensure a better experience for fans especially after TCB feedback...

last time she did that was for the superbowl and she complained in 5F2 that she doesn't have a back of the stage to use as a reference for guidance to be in the right spots for the quick outfit changes, she gets dizzy and confused

Honestly, I hate stadium shows because the stadium shows actually built for a stadium are in the minority.

Bey, Tay and The Weeknd are the only pop acts who have ever done proper stadium set ups.

If that was the standard not the exception, it'd be worth the added pain of standing for longer in uncontrollable weather. 

But considering Gaga has never done an actual stadium worthy stage, and by all available knowledge seems to dislike them as a venue. I just don't see why liddos want it so badly.

Most of the people complaining are judging from a zoomed picture on X and like to forget that the Mayhem Ball is not a stadium tour. I'm 10000% sure that it looks incredible in person and the people who actually attend forget about any doubt as soon as the show starts. I don't remember so much complaining when the previous tours were adapted to a stadium

Also what's the point of comparing those two stages in that tweet? Both Taylor Swift and Gaga would look minuscule from the same distance on that nosebleed section lol

Arenas >>>> Stadiums anyway. There’s more availability with stadiums, sure, but the experience is always better in an arena.

I thought exactly the same. But somehow She has this problem in many aspects. They put big Money into her but not that much Money. Her budget Is probably smaller than some of her peers. Besides She must use the Money into clothes, the instruments and Who knows else. But im pretty sure this Is the real problem, Money.
