I grew up on his movies—When Harry Met Sally, Stand By Me, Misery, and my favorite, The Princess Bride. I’m absolutely gutted, and at the end of a horrific weekend with mass shootings at Bondi Beach in Australia and Brown University in the US. Franch Toast 27,323
The son was just arrested. How terrible for those parents to be murdered in such a violent, painful way and know their son was doing it. And my heart breaks for the other children who lost their parents in one fell swoop at the hands of their brother. This is so horrific, and a senseless loss of such talent. Reiner’s filmography is impeccable. She/Her/Hers 1
PornoDanceFight 375
Absolutely gutted hearing the circumstances behind their deaths. Even more enraged at the POTUS taking ****ing political potshots at them because Reiner said mean things about his presidency. Disgusted and ashamed doesn't begin to describe it.

Cavadour 2,535
When I heard about this terrible news, I decided to rewatch Stand My Me because Misery, despite the fact that it's a masterwork, it's just to hard right now. Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

I watched Princess Bride last night and relived my childhood, then cried when I got to the credits scene and it said "Directed by Rob Reiner." It's just so unfair that this happened.
