The song would be more bearable if she wasn’t screaming and repeating the same sentence over and over. She also shouldn’t have spoken of the bridge. That’s the best part of the song.

how can anyone NOT like PL??? it was so polarizing at the time but it is such a standout track (not even that it doesn’t sound at all like anything else on joanne) but in her discography

I love LG’s dark, soulful vocals. On MAYHEM, for example, she makes them feel mostly effortless.

But on Perfect Illusion she makes them an awkward strain to listen to... the plane never gets off the ground 🎤
