From a smoker xo but I didn't start because I saw a celebrity do it 

Well these adults are probably 21-23 yr old, so they're not really thinking about the long run, wanna have fun and party etc. Mentally still kids, crossing the magical age of 18 or 21 doesn't make you think like a grown up.

Honestly I'm glad I was never able to inhale on a cig properly. I tried to do it with weed too and I was wondering why it never worked for me  

later on I've had a full ego death x 2 (absolutely dreadful experience, the weed was 100% clean and home grown) after I took a rip out of a bong and ate some weed muffins. There is no safe drug, I feel so much more stable and put together as a person, being sober these days.

I guess you are a smoker, how do u keep your smoke out of other's people lungs? 

when you smoke on the street and you walk, you know the smoke don't really move but stays through all over your walking path, so the people behind u, are walking through your smoke, without filters.. but smokers has the idea that the smoke magically goes up to the sky and disappear.. because it's "open space", but it's just stays for like 10 min and people breath it.

I only smoke weed at home. Not really applicable to me.

STILL it doesn't give you a right to OFFEND people same as I'm not a driver and I care about my health so I don't go around and offend car drivers that they are polluting our air when they can use a bike. 
 

Smoking is not illegal YET you give yourself right to offend people and belittle them based on their personal choice they have FULL right on. 
 

I have tremendous respect for you but this is straight up bs and you are just trying to reason yourself being offensive, exclusive and rude. I get you are frustrated with smokers but there are ways of having productive or/and destructive discussion. But you didn't want to discuss, you wanted to make yourself look better (and feel better) with 'I did it how you can't?' type mentality.

And yet no one talks about how many TV shows or films have alcohol glamorised or used as a vice in them. In the UK specifically it's stacked up on every aisle corner in supermarkets and it's advertised everywhere yet smoking ads are banned. As someone who's parent died from alcohol liver disease and looking at stats for deaths from alcohol every year I find this just as concerning tbh but it's way more normalised.

I don’t smoke but I really couldn’t care less about others do or don’t. I don’t think it’s cool or uncool, it’s just as uninteresting as eating meat vs being vegan or drinking vs not drinking.

Unless you suffer from severe asthma you’re probably okay around people who smoke and people who smoke should be mindful about others around them.

People need to respect other’s spaces and people also need to mind their own business for once in their lives. Smoking doesn’t make you cool and complaining about smokers makes you a little bitch.

we can honestly go back and forth all day and you know how annoying I can be 

but this is my truth and my frustration about smokers, if they are offended, then I did my job, because it's the only way to make them face reality. smoking is simply not cool it's harming for everyone, it's their right, but our right for a clean air comes before theirs.

I see smokers smoking on kids, babies, old people, and if you say something, they are angry and attack you back, not all of them, but most of them.

If they were more understand and less selfish, and trying to smoke far from non-smokers, maybe people wouldn't be so frustrated about them in the first place..

And I'm not here to make them stop.. if they didn't stop after all the warnings and knowledge that we have about smoking then a post on a pop forum won't even make them think for a second.
