I will always insist she seems better off just releasing standalones. It’s not like she’ll have a hit. Her career is doing a standard basic trajectory, for a standard basic pop-star.
 

Sometimes I do think Gaga’s success in overcoming ageism might confuse some people into thinking just any pop star can do it, forgetting the fact that Gaga’s talent is what keeps her going.

I mean Gaga is still relevant because shes talented, multifaceted and makes quality music in different ways. Like what other popstar is releasing Jazz, good soundtrack songs and pop music with a different twist every time?  While being an actually good actress and having a successful make up business?

I think it’s gonna end up on the album. Lifetimes Tour is about to end so she’ll have time to hit the studio, film MV’s, etc. Plus she teased Watch It Burn and “Kathryn Hudson” (album title?) in 2026 in that video  

My only question is how is she getting big budgets from Capitol still?

Surprising considering when she chose to release it, when there's only a few dates of the tour left. That would imply that she's wanting to build up fan support for it while on tour to get a new album campaign rolling with lots of eyeballs on it. But for sure, if it smashed, it would've been a different story. But I do want her to continue with this style, just a bit better than the decent but basic Bandaids. Maybe she's just doing this standalone to remind people she's still around and to build up some goodwill from critics.

Perhaps even though she’s flopping she’s still one of the biggest artists in their catalogue while Interscope got a lot of big names to split the budget idk
