Will this be like never really over all over again where she’ll release her next album more than a year later and bandaids will be a non single track on the album? Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . I think she will still release it... there could be a contractual obligation. Unfortunately I just haven't paid her much attention since she released Prism as I enjoyed her early songs but have never really connected with her as an artist. Her song, By the Grace of God and it's live performance (I think at the Grammy's?) are stunning and do highlight what I think is her potential! She has clearly been through a lot and I frankly never felt her music after 2013 really evolved or grew to match that. I could be wrong because I do not pay much attention to her work anymore. The "success" of Woman's World came from Katy really making a comeback after a few years without releasing music, so there was anticipation. The Lifetimes Tour had demand because her last tour was 7 years ago and is more a greatest hits tour. I fear that she might go down the Cyndi Lauper route. Three very successfull albums with mega worldwide hits that will still be known in decades from the beginning of her career, but less and less commercial appeal and interest for her new releases, although she will always good for a throwback and therefore have a audience (of whatever size). 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
