Nite 5,713
Gaga was seen in Stockholm carrying the book Cacophony of Bone by Kerri ní Dochartaigh: People pointed it out to the author and she wrote a post about it on Insta: https://www.instagram.com/kerrinidochartaigh/p/DQm8KF1CHEF/ "Well beauties, there are a few more of ye here than there were yesterday so maybe I’ll do a wee intro. @ladygaga carrying my book, CACOPHONY OF BONE—the thing aside from my my son that I am most proud of creating— was not on my list of things I’d experience in this wild, wild year. But here we are. This book took so much to write. It means everything to me. It is my whole heart, written and given on the page. It healed me, it continues to, over & over again. It is a love letter. To the earth, to the original mother, to the mother that we can all be held by; the one who reminds us how to love deeper. Wider. More. It is a memorial. To a time and a place like no others. It changed everything for me. Every single thing. **** am I grateful for this book. I truly hope Lady Gaga found solace in its pages; a way to be held. A link to buy is of course in my bio, but more than encouraging you to buy& read it, I would love if you held in your hands and in your heart its core message. There is a light out there that is there to hold every one of us; to remind us ; to heal us; to take us back where we need to be. REMEMBER THAT LIGHT, and make of your life a sacred promise that you will fight like **** that we all, every one of us, human and other than, can hold that beauty & goodness & tenderness for all times. So it’s mutual thriving for all beings, freedom for all oppressed kin, and actions born from tender acceptance and LOVE LOVE LOVE. Let’s go out in search of that “beautiful, strange otherness” Paul Shephard believes is our birthright. That wild world we are so delicately interwoven with is out and in there, still, somehow, and we better give our everything to get ourselves back there. Brightly, and with the deepest gratitude in my heart, for this world and all who love her ( oh and enjoy this oddly boned creature of a book, if that is what you came here for 💜)" After reading a few extracts, I'm thinking of adding it to my winter reading list as well. 1
