This interview validated so much of what I was feeling from her art lol.

Like yes, of course a star is born was made on lithium.  I picked up on that from the beginning.

I’m just imagining you watching the movie and the first thing you saying after was, “She was definitely on lithium.”

Don’t wanna turn this into another filler thread but NO. She obviously has them in her cheeks and lips, seems to get new ones every once in awhile.

I hope she doesn't  this shoot and Mayhem Ball is the best she's looked in years  They setttled SO well.

Not that she needs them ofc, but they are clearly doing no harm. She looks insanely fresh and youthful. Beauty queen

...has anybody seen my disco stick?

The look with the piano on her head could easily work as an outfit on the MAYHEM Ball!

That's pretty much exactly what happened.  I'm intuitive for these kinds of things

That’s exactly what happened when I first heard Chromatica :air: I couldn’t stop thinking “I can hear and almost taste her antidepressants”

That was one of the best Gaga articles/interviews I've read in quite a while!

Yes! It also helps that the interviewer interviewed Gaga several times before, does his homework and seems to really understand her as an artist and person. And that he knows how to translate it into a very well written text.

What she says about Chromatica sort of upset me. IMO (!) Chromatica’s lyrics are superior to most of Mayhem. It had more to say than most of Mayhem does.

I gotta say (probably already have somewhere on here) that I clicked immediately with Chromatica and less with MAYHEM. In some way I can see that MAYHEM is more authentically Gaga and more of a return to especially The Fame Gaga, but me too I think that for me, eventually, Chromatica has work I like more than MAYHEM. I think Chromatica is globally an album I like more, while MAYHEM has higher highs (obviously Disease and Abracadabra), but also lower lows.

Can you imagine the way this ****s my head, knowing that I like the album that Gaga clearly loves more less?

so crazy to think Joanne was also one of the darkest and hardest times for her, when we all thought she was finally healing

no wonder the era was so lowkey

Having read almost all Gaga's interviews over all these years as a fan, I can't help but notice this yet again:
She says and/or the interview makes it seem that "now she's much happier and healthier" and/or we think so, just for the next era to have an interview yet again "oh, she wasn't, but she is now". I posted about this before, and I think the reaction of some other members on here was something along the lines of "that's just how depression and mental health that needs work etc. function". I just feel sad/confused about this happening over and over.
Here we are celebrating again in how much of a good space she seems to be, and I just hope that it's really like this this time and that next era we don't get the "actually it wasn't the case" :(.

I DO think she really looks, talks and behaves in a way that reflects her most probably indeed being in a good place and it sure does seem, once again, that we have Michael to thank for this in a large part.

That was a disquieting read. She has been ill for such a long time, ill even when filming ASIB and HOG and when we watched her doing the promo for those movie, and she is still on meds. Did she even mention her Vegas residency ? We hear from Michael, possibly for the first time. He seems to be such a positive influence in her life, I hope they make some little Polanottas, and I hope she's drinking less and continues to feel better.

I want a girl! Not that what I want matters to them, but can you imagine a baby gaga:flutter: Besides, he has such a girl dad vibe

and she confirms she's performing the demo version of Shallow!

Looking back (and maybe relating it to your own life) Joanne is that first step to healing when you open everything up and realize there is so much to do, and you cannot halfass the recovery (hence, Chromatica). She likened the Joanne album to heart surgery for being invasive and in hindsight, it makes a lot of sense that she was in so much agony through the time. I'm so glad to see her feeling happy and healthy

also my ass is so traumatized from taylor that i’m looking for any easter eggs in this shoot, why are the fame monster raven back and why so many?? what’s happening????

I think she excels as paying homage to her own career in a mature way, not necessarily hinting at what is to come. But it is her way of finally appreciating herself the way we have for years

I don't expect to see her for 8-12 years once she has that child and in the past she said she wants a "mini football team" # of kids. With her being 40 IDK if that is possible but I doubt she only wants 1.

I know she is healthy again but we do not know what her body can handle after what life has put her through. I have always speculated she may go down a surrogacy route ever since we saw her describing her fears about pregnancy/childbirth in the Netflix documentary. However she gets it, she deserves a big family to care for because she would be an amazing mother

Probably likely but I think we are not supposed to discuss surrogacy since a lot of people find it ethically questionable. If she does that the internet snowflakes will hound her about it forever.

Sorry I did not realize there was ethical concerns over surrogacy. My mother lost her first child at 18 months from a genetic condition and was told she could not have children ever again due to her age. She opted out of surrogacy because of fears that the condition would appear again, and so she adopted me. She then became pregnant again through a miracle and my brother and I grew up like twins and he is the healthier between the two of us.

I share this just to show you never know what someone has gone through to have children/a family and quite frankly- I think if someone wants to help others have children then there is no ethical concern. The internet wants to complain about everything until the experience happens to them and they get perspective... I think if she did go that route she should not feel afraid to share the journey because of criticism.
