Beyoncé is the far superior vocalist and live performer and my Bey playlist gets far more action than my RiRi one, but I love them both. Rihanna made so many bangers and her more vulnerable songs I think are so touching especially Stay and California King Bed. Still Beyoncé by quite a bit.

Beyonce and it's really without any competition. The Trilogy project is her magnum opus, and visually and performance wise, she's incomparable to anyone else. ((Though I loathe her flaunting of her billionaire status and often find it distasteful how much of her music/artistry is based on the validation of capitalism)).

Beyonce is more talented by far, but Rihanna put out banger after banger and did it while shrugging her shoulders and not giving a sh*t. Something about that is appealing.  😂 I’ve always loved her vocal tone as well.

There's something about Bey's voice that just doesn't hit for me. Though she's obviously insanely talented. 

I also hate the deification of Beyonce by the press and her fans. It's annoying and has totally turned me off from her over the years. Not her fault (I assume), but still. 

Also, Rihanna has about thousand pop staple singles for me. More than even Gaga - though Gaga has better albums and, like Bey, is an infinitely better performer.

the fact that rihannas one of the top most streamed females today with no album in 9 years is a testament to how her music has stood the test of time.

Beyoncé is hands-down the superior artist, vocalist, visionary etc, and consistently produces albums of excellent quality. But there is just something about Rihanna that I personally prefer. Her voice, her style, her attitude etc. She has far more edge. Tho the only album I genuinely like from her is ANTI, and a handful of earlier songs.

Thank you lmao. I came in here expecting a blowout and was shocked that it was close. Beyoncé blows Rihanna out of the water in basically every conceivable way (talent, vocals, stage presence, visuals, music etc)

I like a few of her songs - Woo, Love on the Brain, Desperado - but her hits are overplayed like mad and anything that isn't a hit is truly mid.

Beyoncé wins, no competition for me. Renaissance even finally won me over
