I don't think a lot of people realize just how much we've been told about new music that never came to fruition:

ARTPOP - ARTPOP Act II/ARTPOP App releases (We know this one well.)

Joanne - Joanne B-Side (A release of tracks or possible re-release of Joanne involving unreleased songs from Joanne and the early fifth album sessions.)

Chromatica - Sophie track(s) (One of Lady Gagas producers said the song(s) would come out at some point during the era.)

 

Now we are onto Total MAYHEM, though this has only been alleged hints and not any confirmations yet.

I feel like  the years of waiting for sequels that have never came has made us numb 💀 imagine if it actually came this time though omg

idk you can blame lady gaga 100% for the act ii delusion since it was something she mentioned, but the total mayhem or a deluxe album has never been officially announced or talked about, it's just fans guessing and theories.

Its not the new Act 2 because Act2 was essentially confirmed to exist by Gaga and it just got killed off.

Total Mayhem is us just speculating so if it never happens we just got it wrong

By now we should all know that songs are left on the cutting room floor for each album. I doubt we’ll get a B-Side, but with this era she seems to really dig the sound and vibe of this album, so if she were to do it I could see it coming after the Grammys, maybe in March for the 1-year anniversary.

Well she hasn’t directly said anything about it, unlike all of the predecessors which you mentioned above. Instead, she’s simply been dropping hints. It is imminent.

The big difference is there actually a commercial valid reason / demand to release a sequel of MAYHEM more than there was for ARTPOP
