In a GQ interview, a smugly defiant Sydney Sweeney swoons over being retweeted by Trump, saying it was “surreal.” In the same interview, she declined to address the substance of the controversy surrounding a potential dog whistle in her AE ad.

umm, I usually skip watching content like this, cause I don't expect it to surprise me, but damn. It was almost disturbing seeing them talk about Trump and how it was "surreal", even the interviewer was giving "in love with him" vibes. Disgusting, wtf is wrong with people, is this a coping mechanism?

I'm definitely not a fan of hers, but she wasn't really 'gushing' about Trump, to be fair. All she said was "it was surreal" 

I can see someone doing a pisstake of this interview though as the vibe is a bit weird from them both

I hope her career goes a downward spiral like Trump’s is heading. it’s going to happen sooner than later. she will try to downplay it later but obviously she’s riding it now.
