I seriously need this trilogy thing to end already   I wish the two/three records could stand on their own like so much of Cowboy Carter imagery is a direct reference to Renaissance when these two records couldn’t be more different from each other (I know they are going to be part of the same project in the future but it’s taking soooo long)

We kind of did. 

I definitely see references between the Alice performance (TCB) & the Bad Romance performance (TMB). Admittedly both are references to her surgery.
