I like the track a lot (sucker for mid tempo pop). The lyrics and lack of “umph” make me only want the instrumental though. 

Also have a hard time with how tone deaf she is with things like the Bezos space trip. (The wealthy will stick together, though I suppose) 

Anyway, not mad at this song. It’s not horrible. 

Its pretty good tbh, the lyrics didnt take me back immediately but after a second listen with listening to the lyrics, they are actually quite good. I wish it sonically fit more into the one of the boys sound but i wouldn't mind hearing this on the radio.

For sure! I just gave it a second spin and I’m kind of sold on it. She sometimes really nails the wistful melancholic heartache with a pop song  kind of like Thinking of You or Never Really Over.

It's not a bad song. Its actually a real return to form for her. 
Amd despite that, I feel so anti-Katy these days because of who she's shown herself to be that it was hard to enjoy.

At the very least this sounds like it was made by humans, unlike the soul-less, AI generated vibes of 143. I think this is a step into the right direction musically speaking. I wish she’d drop the camp though.

I feel like the video would've been better if everything after the train jump was replaced with scenes like the ones in the Million Reasons video; like Katy rolling in the dirt after the jump and being found by her friends and they're dusting her off, no lip-syncing or campiness, just a scene with friends.
