But even multiple people in this thread are saying things like PC is great and CSTH is a B-side for a reason. 

I was never one of those people who wanted Mayhem to be any different, but I just thought it was interesting that the reception to those two songs is so different.

The lack of taste or musical literacy here is truly remarkable…CSTH is arguably thematically and sonically more “Mayhem” than at least 4 tracks on the standard edition AND has the NIN/glam rock/dance theatricality influence that fans have been begging for since 2011…what’s not clicking 

It’s about having a TIME in the club…it’s about losing it at the afters during a comedown…it’s about an indulgent ecstasy fueled fantasy…in what world does its lyrics sound unfinished or like a P!nk song

Thank you! Not to continue to rant, but it's also a song about your "bad" self making bad decisions and the consequences of those bad decisions. "Lemme have one more shot/key/hit/capsule" then BAM, anxiety and overstimulation overload. It's the Sunday scaries in song form. It's the siren song of Mistress Mayhem telling you, "no, you deserve to have fun! Pop off!" and then you spend all Sunday thinking about how weird you were acting the night before and how you swear you'll "never drink again," only to do it again the next weekend. CSTH slander I will NOT tolerate!

CSTH was the reason I bought a CD reader to import it into my Library… one of the best songs of the album and in her discography overall… exactly the sound I wanted from her

I don’t think I would love Mayhem as much without CSTH. The vibes and energy in that song was made for me and it’s become one of my most favorite Gaga songs of all time. 

If there is indeed more music coming, I really hope that it’s more Disease/ PC/ CSTH than TDD.

They are in the top 5 on MAYHEM for me. I love these lyrics on Can't Stop The High :

the singles should’ve been DWAS - Disease - Abra - Killah - TDD (because of Wednesday) - CSTH - PC

Then why is Can’t Stop The High so generally regarded as one of the worst songs on the album? 

I just think they have a very similar sound and so I find it interesting how they are received so differently.

I personally think both songs are great, with a slight preference for Can't Stop the High because I can't emotionally relate to Perfect Celebrity lol
