I love both of these songs but it always surprises me when I remember that they were pre-written demos given to Gaga for Joanne. She made hardly any changes to the lyrics at all. It's interesting that Joanne includes two songs that Gaga herself didn't originate in any way (lyrically or musically), despite it being her most stripped back, "personal" record (even if, actually, both BTW and ARTPOP were more personal before it, along with Chromatica and Mayhem since). I think Chromatica also includes one of these 'not Gaga-originated' tracks too: Sour Candy. Are there any others?

Oh, I just recalled that 'Til It Happens To You' (another extremely personal song) wasn't actually written by Gaga at all.

If i remember correctly, Sine From Above was an Elton John song like from 2013 but he and Axwelll didn't like it and they send it to Gaga.

That was the instrumental, I believe, not the lyrics, which Gaga originated herself. Though maybe not actually, looking at the credits on Spotify, which doesn't list her as a lead writer. Interesting!
